Welcome to Herts & Diamonds Event Services

 

Thank you for visiting our website, let me tell you a little about us:-

 

For years, I'd helped decorate venues, arranged catering, designed and made posters, invitations, favours, etc. for family, friends and even friends of friends.

I was always told "you should do this as a business!", but I wasn't sure that I wanted the pressure of running my own company.  I started to do some research and after a while, with the support of family and friends , I finally bit the bullet and Herts and Diamonds Events Services was born.

 

Herts and Diamonds Event Services are based in the village of South Mimms, Hertfordshire, where we have a purpose-built studio for our clients to visit and have an informal chat over a coffee (or tea of course) and to see the products and services we have to offer, we also have some of our previous work on display for you to view and perhaps gain some inspiration. 

 

We are very much a family run business:  I design and make the stationary, table centres, favours etc.; my Brother- in -law Mark (the fantastic DJ and owner of "Bluemark Entertainment") supplies the drapes, starlit back drop and lighting solutions; my sister Clare (owner of "Love Lighting") provides the dance floors; and my Mum Wendy (of "Wendy's Cakes") supplies all of our cakes.

Unfortunately my children are still a little young, but I am sure we can get them involved in the future!

 

We are a friendly easy-going company and we treat each and every event with the flare and enthusiasm as if it was our own. We are happy to assist you at any level - we can help you design and arrange your whole event or just supply the cake - we're  not all about the "upsell"!
